The stairs were absolutely killer to climb though!

.) Malaysian hospitality was great! I had so much fun hanging out with the locals and seeing the non touristy part of Malaysia!

.) It was so HUMID!! I thought my hair would never recover from the frizz.

.) If you don’t like spicy food nor seafood then you might not survive in Malaysia. Most of their traditional and unique local foods mainly consist of one or the other and sometimes both components!

.) I had an amazing time hiking and spelunking through the Batu Caves! It was honestly my favorite thing to do in Malaysia! The caves were a tad bit hot but overall I would highly recommend doing that if you’re ever in the area! Also, there were baby monkeys!!

.) I didn’t have time to visit a shrine while there and that is probably the one thing I regret from that trip!

.) The time change definitely caught up with me here and I was dead for most of the nights haha

.) There was a really nice bar on the top floor of our hotel and it even had a pool! We would go up there and have a drink and watch the Petronas Towers light up while we relaxed from a long day!

.) While my dad was conducting business throughout the days I was mainly either by myself or with a local who showed me around!

.) Next time I travel like this I definitely want to try staying at an Airbnb! 🙂

.) Finally, I would just suggest at looking outside of your comfort zone to find fun things to do! You might even surprise yourself! I know I did when I decided Malaysia was one of my favorite places to visit while traveling this summer! 🙂
